Return and Refund Policy

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- Have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
- A refund or replacement if a product is not fit for its intended purpose, does not match the description, or does not match the sample shown
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL.
Return Shipping
Dreamery will cover return shipping costs where the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or where you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@dreamery.com.au before sending anything back. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
When contacting us, please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- A brief note about how the ritual worked for you
- Photos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect
Once your return is approved, we will email you return instructions.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged in transit, or you have received the wrong item, contact us immediately at hello@dreamery.com.au so we can assess the issue and make it right.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, if a product has a major failure you may choose to:
- Receive a full refund
- Receive a replacement product of the same type
- Keep the product and receive compensation for the reduced value
For minor failures, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
If a product is found to be faulty or not as described, you remain entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of how long you have had the product.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, please return your original item once authorised and accepted, then place a new order separately.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the outcome.
If your refund is approved:
- We will refund the full purchase price of the returned item to your original payment method
- Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after approval
- Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the credit to your account
Original shipping costs and return postage are not refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
If more than 5 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at hello@dreamery.com.au.
Refunds for ACL warranty claims will be processed promptly and in full, with no deductions.
